READY TO RAK!!! Listo a Regalar!!!

Yup yesterday I was "supposed" to have gotten this posted but like all things planned they never go off quite as you expect. I think I had a "holiday hangover" LOL couldnt' seem to stay out of my own way so basically called it a dud day. So took some Ibuprofen and did the PJ boogie all day. I was capable of playing on very long game of Super Scrabble but after 2.5 hours of that I had much for brains.

Ok so on to the good stuff -- To get in on this RAK post a comment on THIS post between now and Monday 12/31. In the post link me up to your fav TAPITA! Remember a tapita is a little appetizer meant to be shared in the company of friends so link me up whether it be scrappy related or not it's something you want to share with me. I will leave a message there so you know I saw it-- On NEW YEAR'S DAY January 1st, 2008 the winning name will be drawn. And with any luck I will have actually hit that coveted 1000 visitor mark as am very close. I am very excited for these items to go to a good home so leave me a comment!

And what's up for grabs for all this linking and posting -- Y ahora lo bueno

EVERY Scrapper needs nourishment so it will include this as well -- Porsupuesto cada persona requiere esto mientras hace scrap --

I'm including an altered jar I made with a mini alpha stamp set -- I have one of these sets and LOVE them. The jar is a seaside theme, perfect for setting your sights on summer.

Next two Photo Sharing Cards (one black one neutral) which are mini albums in themselves complete with envelopes ready for altering for Valentine's or Saint Patrick's Day.

One set of unmounted rubber stamps by Firecracker.

One set of basic journaling markers with a fine tip in black, red, green and blue.

TWO giftcard/tag folding file folders; both have 4 pockets, extra space so you can add a photo or gift card(s) and two dual sided tags for you to personalize.
One is a Groovy Birthday Girl Theme --
Tematico Cumpleanos Retro para Nina
and the other is for Father's Day.

my favorite Tapa (I even have tapa pans at home) is from a small Spanish place in Royal Oak Mi called Sangria (and OMG the Sangria is to die for too). Its small roasted potatoes with this orangy tomato spice sauce on top. Here is a link #20. http://www.sangriaroyaloak.com/menu/lunch/tapascalientes.htm

Being a vegetarian is pretty hard in Michigan-at least where I live, so I have to drive an hour or more to dine out and get choices besides salad bars. My daughter used to live down the road from here-but she moved. Made me sad.

Just stumbled across your blog and love it! Tapita, hmmmm hafta go with chocolate - take mini pretzels, top with a rolo and pop in the oven, 200 degrees for about 4 min, take out and smoosh a pecan on top - to die for!

Great blog candy! Thanks for a chance to win!! Instead of linking you, I will give the recipe here.
Sausage Balls:
1 (10 oz) package grated cheddar cheese
1 lb. ground sausage (mild or spicy)

Mix with hands & form into balls. Bake at 350 for 12 - 15 minutes (or until brown on bottom). The balls may be frozen & brought out to cook later.

Congrats!
My favorite appetizer to take is:
Roll Ups
Mix 1/2 cup sour cream and cream cheese. Add chopped ham, green olives, green onions, garlic powder and shredded cheddar cheese.
Spread this mixture on soft tortilla shells. Roll them up and wrap in saran wrap overnight. The next day, slice them in 3/4 inch slices.

Hi. Great RAK. I'd like to join in. My favorite appetizer is fairly simple and I will post it here, but feel free to visit my blog at www.homeschoolblogger.com/OhioSarah

Frozen, pre-cooked meatballs
Chili sauce (in the cans)
Grape jelly
Put all in a sauce pan mix and heat, then eat.

I had never had this until Christmas Eve when my step-mom made it, YUMMY!!!!!

Love all those items I'd love a chance to win. Don't really have a picture or link to share but I have a super easy and very great recipe to share.

Mini Tarts:

1 tube chocolate chip cookie dough
1 bag hershey kisses
mini muffin tin

Put dough into muffin tin filling it 1/2 full. Bake according to package directions. Once done remove from oven and while still warm press kiss into center. Let cool remove from pan and enjoy.
Wow, I haven't been on here in a while. I love your page. You are so talented. My favorite appetizer is a shrimp ceviche that a friend of mine makes. She won't tell me what she puts in it. I know it has shrimp, onion, tomato, lime juice and achiote flavored oil that she makes by heating achiote seeds in oil before adding to shrimp. What else goes in it is a mystery to me. It's really spicy and yummy too. Hope you had a wonderful holiday.
